The Lake Manitou Association is a vibrant, community-supported, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located at Lake Manitou of Fulton County, Indiana. An all-volunteer Board of Directors guides the efforts of LMA. The board members and community volunteers serve on numerous committees that strive to enhance the quality of living in our lake community. Through conservation and stewardship efforts, along with the support of local, state, and federal agencies, we protect and preserve Fulton County's greatest asset.
Lake Manitou is located in the small, bustling city of Rochester. Surrounded by a park and nature preserves, the spring and ground water fed lake covers 775 acres and provides recreation and relaxation for visitors and residents in the North Central part of the state. This charming all-sport lake, located 45 miles south of South Bend, provides activities such as fishing, boating, waterskiing, swimming, and kayaking. Visitors can also enjoy great golfing at nearby public courses, or take leisurely bike rides along the Nickel Plate Trail. Surrounding parks and nature preserves provide unique wildlife and bird watching opportunities you wouldn't expect inside the city limits. Check out Rochester!
